We serve families enrolled in the Union County Food Bank Program by providing them with new and gently used clothing. Each child enrolled in the program will receive two care packages a year.
How does the Union County Giving Closet Work?
We gather donations of children's clothing, shoes, socks, underwear, etc.
Families enrolled in the Union County Food Bank will fill out a simple request form during one of the food bank distributions (1st & 3rd Fridays of each month)
We collect their requests and pack a bag for each child that includes a week's worth of clothing, a pair of shoes, and new socks, underwear, and pajamas
Families pick up the bag labeled with their child's name
We deliver the bags to the Union County Food Bank for the next distribution

Counties Covered
In the past we have helped families throughout central Pennsylvania, specifically in Union County, Snyder County, Northumberland County, Lycoming County, Montour County, and Columbia County. However, this is not a permanent list. We want to help any family in need.
